Open-Typer

Open-Typer is a free and open source typing tutor. It works on Linux, Windows and macOS.

Windows and macOS

Download the latest release from GitHub or SourceForge.

Note: We don't sign our binaries yet. You will see a warning when trying to start the installer. Choose "run anyway" on Windows or right click on the file and press "Open" on macOS.

Any Linux distribution

Download the AppImage here and make it executable:

chmod +x Open-Typer-x86_64.AppImage
./Open-Typer-x86_64.AppImage

Open-Typer can be also installed using the Snap Store:

sudo snap install open-typer

Ubuntu

Use the following commands to install Open-Typer from the PPA:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:adazem009/open-typer
 
sudo apt update
 
sudo apt insall -y open-typer
